Collaboration. Creativity. Transparency.
Institute for the Love Of Genius In Community
It requires a fortitude that is impossible to maintain alone and motivates me to recruit like minds ready, willing and able to act, each in our own way to live better, more fulfilled lives.
By doing this work first in the self, then the home, then the community, I aspire to develop models for community action that are sustainable and creative. Most importantly, I enjoy the work. I believe that no one can be successful at work that means nothing to them, and so all of the work that I involve myself in is work that I love to do. This is how I ensure success for myself. This is how I work toward success for my community. This is the leadership that I believe is only possible by example. I improve myself and my life, then my light shines bright enough to light the path for those who want to d the same.
So far, iLOGIC initiatives include:
Community Garden: Nature's Grove (400 N. Madison St. Albany, GA)
SWAG To School: Youth Hygeine & Self Esteem Training (Annual Back to School Event)
Intermittent Art Contests for Youth
Nature Walks & Community Geography Education
Join Us! If you have a community event, initiative or volunteer opportunity, please post a link on the Contact Page of this site so that we can help to share the information AND the LOVE!
A Note from the founder:
As I began my journey into home-schooling my children, I was astonished by the need that I saw among the children (and adults) in my community to have consistent, positive reminders of our power. The work of creating an establishment of productive, positive communities is tireless and selfless. It requires a sense of commitment that reaches beyond the needs of today.
